"Let us be great-souled women who do everything for God." – St. Jane de ChantalThe Legacy Campaign
Visitation Academy’s vision for tomorrow started with the $6.3 million Legacy Campaign. Launched in 1998, the campaign was the result of years of study and strategic planning. The campaign provided students with the opportunity to experience the twenty-first century in a beautiful, updated environment. Generous support from parents, alumnae, parents of alumnae, grandparents, faculty, staff and friends made campaign success possible. Construction was completed in 2000.

As a result of the Legacy Campaign, students enjoy:
Four new science classrooms with flexible teaching spaces, updated utilities, safety equipment and the best technological support.
A renovated theatre with computerized lighting and sound, permanent theatre-style raised seating, a lobby and handicapped accessibility.
Three new Lower School classrooms including a science classroom and small gymnasium. Existing classrooms were also renovated to enhance the environment for art, music and other programs.
An additional full-sized gymnasium to accommodate Visitation’s growing sports and extracurricular programs.
Renovated athletic fields and six new tennis courts.
New playground equipment.
