The Legacy Campaign
Visitation Academys vision for tomorrow started with the $6.3 million Legacy Campaign. Launched in 1998, the campaign was the result of years of study and strategic planning. The campaign provided students with the opportunity to experience the twenty-first century in a beautiful, updated environment. Generous support from parents, alumnae, parents of alumnae, grandparents, faculty, staff and friends made campaign success possible. Construction was completed in 2000.
As a result of the Legacy Campaign, students enjoy:
Four new science classrooms with flexible teaching spaces, updated utilities, safety equipment and the best technological support.
A renovated theatre with computerized lighting and sound, permanent theatre-style raised seating, a lobby and handicapped accessibility.
