A senior was named the Metro St. Louis All-Area Soccer and was listed in Rise Magazine. She was also named the St. Louis SuburĀban JournalÕs Athlete of the Week.
The soccer Vivettes ended their season losing to the #1 ranked team in the state in the state sectional. The Vivettes were ranked #3 in the state for almost the entire year. Viz started the youngest team in the area: five freshman and two sophomores made up the starting squad for the Vivettes. Our girls earned Viz nice publicity over the soccer season. The team was featured three times in the West County Journal and the Post-Dispatch did three feature articles on the team over the course of the season. The team set a school record for regular season wins and finished with the second most goals in school history! The team also garnered six girls who made first team All-Conference.
Three of our Visitation soccer teams competed for the CYC West County Soccer District title the weekend of Nov. 16 - 18. The 7A soccer team coached by Rebecca Martin and Tom Dutton, were runners up in the 7th grade Closed Division District Tournament. They battled an aggressive St. Alban's team on Nov. 17 and lost 5-0. Although the season ended with a loss, they had a fun and exciting season with an overall record of 6-5. The 7AA team, coached by Dick and Steve Westbrook, also had an outstanding season and District Tournament. The 7th grade Vivettes were 8-1-1 in league, placing them first in their division. Competition increased in the first and second round of the CYC West County Open District Tournament. Visitation defeated Ascension 5-0 on Nov. 16 but lost to St. Joseph the following day in the semi-final game 4Š1. VisitationÕs 8AA team also had an exciting season with an overall record of 6-3-4. Coaches Mike Faddis and Dan Schulz guided the Vivettes to the Championship game of the 8th grade girls Open Division District Tournament. After defeating St. Albans 3-1, and Ascension 1-0, Visitation faced the tough number one seed, St. Albans, on Nov. 18 but came up short, losing the battle by a score of 2-1.

Congratulations to our 1st - 8th grade track team who competed in the CYC Final Track Meet and finished second out of 48 schools. This is an amazing feat considering our girls compete against teams with boys. This is the second time that the Viz team has accomplished a top 3 finish. Two students, a seventh grader and an eighth grader, set new CYC records at the meet.
A sixth grader was the 2007 Missouri State High Point Champion on her large pony hunter "Top Gun" and her small pony hunter "Rumor Has It." She was also the State Champion in the 11 & under Hunter Seat Equitation division.
